With extensive knowledge and experience of the mining industry, and more specifically in the bulk materials handling conveyor market, Gulf has developed a range of products that continually outperform our competitor products.
When mining conveyor systems break down, materials cannot be transported, resulting in significant downtime costs, which must be avoided. Gulf understands these challenges, we work closely with our Customers to assess and identify key performance parameters for our products, and material requirements – We then design our products accordingly, continually delivering product and quality excellence.
In line with our material science expertise, Gulf has developed a range of materials that meet and exceed the tough application conditions and compliance requirements. Excellent abrasion resistance and durability to name a few, as well as meeting critical safety requirements of FRAS AS4606:2012, and MDG3608 when required.
Whilst Gulf offers a wide range of products within material handling and conveyor systems, our bespoke product development capability continues to deliver Custom OEM mining components for our Customers.

Gulf’s team of engineers ensure all factories around the world meet quality standards required for ISO 9001 certifications. All products go through rigorous analysis and testing on a range of metrics, including tensile and tear strength, stress relaxation, and compound rheology. Our stringent process controls use tools such as Poka-Yoke / Error-Proofing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and automated inspection tools.
Other analytical tools include Design of Experiments (DoE), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Gauge R&R and 8D Problem Solving.
