These are designed to bond perfectly to the instrument with no gaps or separation to prevent incursion of bioburden at the interface between the stainless steel and LSR. This chemical and mechanical bond also prevents the grip from being dislodged from the instrument when impacted or torque is applied. The material utilized is capable of repeated use and sterilization in a steam autoclave.
